I cannot remember where I got them from. Who can I contact about buying the ATV-5 patch. I like this one the best!!johntosullivanI'm disappointed. The blue is too close the Kepler ATV-2 patch. I like the idea of the consistent design but they had so much choice.mama04 quote:Originally posted by Mike Z:Who can I contact about buying the ATV-5 patch. You should try Jacques van Oene from Spacepatches.nl in a few weeks. He sold the official ATV 2, 3 and 4 patches and I wouldn't be surprised if he sells the ATV-5 patch as well.carl walkerWe normally set the next mission's patch into production after the undocking and reentry of the current mission, so after ATV-4's end of mission. ESA ATV patches are available direct from our licensed manufacturer or from reputable suppliers such as Spacepatches.nl. quote:Originally posted by johntosullivan:The blue is too close the Kepler ATV-2 patch. The point of the colours is that they are selected from the ESA corporate colour palette. After blue, green and red were used for ATV-2, 3 and 4, we tried an orange/yellow combination but that did not look so good. Other combinations were tried, but this was the one chosen by the ATV team.johntosullivanWow. This is what I love about collectSPACE. I made an off-the-cuff comment about the colours of a patch. Then someone involved in the design answers my post! Thanks for the feedback Carl. Great to hear the reasons behind the decisions.p51I like it, it's a real departure from the 'too many elements in one patch on a black background' designs that have come out of NASA programs in the last few years...Jacques van OeneThe patch is now available for sale. The ATV-2, 3 and 4 patches are also still available.carl walkerIn readiness for ESA's fifth ATV launch, ATV Georges Lemaitre, you can now order the full set of ESA ATV patches from our licensed provider, Emblemen.net or just drop an email to info@emblemen.net.
